Join The
Michigan Mineralogical Society
Do you have rocks laying around your living room,
million year old bones scattered around the house or do you brake for
outcroppings if so you are one of us. If you attend just one of our monthly
meetings on a topic of your interests the
information/education you gained to further your hobby would be well worth the
dues you paid. We are not a stuffy group as our name might imply. We are just a
bunch of fun loving enthusiasts just like you. No matter what your level of
experience in this field is you are more than welcome to join, you need not be
a expert. I can guarantee you that you only have to gain by membership in the
Michigan Mineralogical Society.
Anyone may apply for membership but membership is
contingent upon the approval of the MMS Board of Directors. The MMS board will
vote on your application at the next general meeting after you application and
membership fee is received.
Michigan
Mineralogical Society members receive the monthly publication of the the
Society the "Conglomerate" and exclusive access to the Society section on Yahoo
groups plus you are free to join any MMS field trips
and priority admittance to all Society functions. |
